On a select beautiful winter day, join Cape2Camp to experience one of the best kept secrets in the South-West. With limited crowds and comfortable hiking temperatures Cape2Camp helps to make to most of our many winter weather windows. Self-guided walks with overnight tent site accommodation,  are available for hikers to enjoy this coastal scenery. With spectacular nature hikes during the day and getting comfy in front of your campfire at night let Cape2Camp bring life to winter!


Cape2Camp takes the stress out of planning and preparing for a hike. We are here to help make the most out of your experience by providing transport, accomodation, food & drinks. This unique set up allows for minimal planning so that you can enjoy your trek at your own pace.

Day 1 Prevelly - Conto 17kms
Park you vehicle in Hamelin Bay. 
7.30am transfer from Hamelin Bay to Elephant Cafe in Gnarabup for pre-hike briefing and breakfast.
8.30am most hikers set off
Tented accommodation at Conto Campground.


Day 2 Conto - Hamelin Bay 22kms
After a lovely day in the Boranup area hikers usually arrive into Hamelin Bay around 2-3pm


What to wear & bring

Appropriate clothing to forecasted weather conditions.

Good walking boots/trainers, bring spare sandals in case of blisters.

Head torch, sunscreen, mozzie repellent, basic first aid kit, blister band aids.

POWER BANK!!! The navigation apps are using lots of your battery capacity.

2-3 litres of water for day 1.

Swimwear & towel, sarong.

Optional fly net (Oct - Dec).


Accomodation, hike briefing & vehicle parking

Accommodation prior to and after the hike is NOT INCLUDED in the package. A popular choice amongst our hikers is Surf Point Resort and Margaret River Beach Appartments to stay coastal in Gnarabup (prior to hike). If you prefer to stay in town, we can recommend Margarets In Town Appartments. They all accommodate one nights stays and location is excellent.

A hike briefing commence at 8am, day 1 of Cape2Camp. A Cape2Camp representative will meet you at White Elephant Cafe where you can enjoy a lovely breakfast.

Leave your vehicle at the Hamelin Bay Caravan carpark, next to the jetty. This is considered safe and is where you hike ends.


Your safety & navigation resources
Cape2Camp highly recommend that you download the First Responder and one Navigation app before your hike. The track have good signage, however unless you have great knowledge of the area and the track, then a navigation resource is recommended.


AllTrails Navigation App; no internet of mobile coverage is needed. You need the pro version ($35.99 annual fee), which, gives you access to the offline map you will use, from Cape Naturaliste to Cape Leeuwin. 

Cape to Cape Track Guide App; no internet or mobile coverage is needed. Access to offline maps and details of sections of the track. It's like having your own personal tour guide in your pocket! (one off fee $24.99)

St John First Responder App; allows you your location to be pinpointed in en emergency situation, dialling 000. No cost.


Campsite, food & drinks
Firewood provided (May - Nov)
BBQ or microwave to be used at campsite. Plates/utensils/cutlery/kitchen towel will be in the food box. 
All meals are included and provided by 'Inspiration Feast' using local produce from the Margaret River Region.
Drinks are inclusive of water, coconut water, juice, tea, coffee, wine and beer.
Camping equipment is provided.
Camp sites are set up from 2 pm onwards each day, along with your food and drink boxes. Cape2Camp use a 10 cm king inflatable mattress with bedding (quilt, sheet and pillow) for all our campers. This allows for a cosy and comfortable sleep.
Camp site is unpowered.


Terms & Conditions

Itineraries will remain flexible to ensure safety, and to enhance the hiker's  experience on the Cape to Cape track. By paying the deposit, you agree to Cape2Camp Booking Terms and Conditions and Risk Warning. All participants will sign a waiver before the hike on Day 1, when meeting with the Cape2Camp Team.

Cape2Camp requires a 50% deposit, or a full payment to secure your booking. Final payment is due minimum 10 days prior to the hike. A cancellation fee of 50% applies with less than 10 days notice of cancellation. Where possible, transfer to alternative days will be considered.

Cape2Camp reserves the rights to modify the package at any time, as necessary. Any variations to the itinerary may result in extra charges payable to you. In case of severe weather, the hike might be rescheduled to another date. In such case you will be given a full refund or new dates for your hike with us.Please note, for refunds of walks or tours that are booked with a credit card, the credit card booking fee will not be refunded. Bookings made through a booking agent may be subject to additional cancellation fees.
