Cape2Camp offers a unique self guided and fully catered 39 kms nature adventure, on the Cape to Cape track from Prevelly to Hamelin Bay.

Cape2Camp takes the stress out of planning and preparing for a hike. We are here to help make the most out of your experience by providing transport, accomodation, food & drinks. This unique set up allows for minimal planning so that you can enjoy your trek at your own pace!

Day1 Prevelly to Conto 17kms

Your start your hike from Gnarabup, The White Elephant Cafe. Contos is your first campsite, a trek of roughly 17km (estimated time 5-6 hours) Key spots along this section are Gnarabup - Boodjinup Beach - Redgate Beach - Bob's Hollow - Contos ridge walk.

Day 2 Conto to Hamelin Bay 22kms
Next up, you will make your way from Conto to Hamelin Bay camp site, totalling 22km (estimated time of 6-7 hours). Key spots along this section are Karri Forrest - Boranup Beach. You end your hike in Hamelin Bay and transfer will take you back to your accommodation where your vehicles are parked.

What to wear and bring

Good walking boots/trainers, bring spare sandals in case of blisters
Sunscreen, mozzie repellent, basic first aid kit, blister band aids
Appropriate clothing for forecasted wether conditions.
Swimwear and towel or sarong

Powerful Power Bank.

The cost of accommodation the night prior to or after the hike and team breakfast prior to the hike is NOT INCLUDED. A local and popular choice amongst our hikers are the Margaret River Beach Resort and Surfpoint Resort in Gnarabup. 

Your safety and navigation resources

Cape2Camp highly recommend that you download the First Responder and one Navigation app, BEFORE your hike. The track have good signage, however unless you have great knowledge of the area and the track, then a navigation resource is recommended.

  • St John First Responder App; allows you your location to be pinpointed in en emergency situation, dialling 000. No cost.

  • AllTrails Navigation App; no internet of mobile coverage is needed. You need the pro version ($35.99 annual fee), which gives you access to the offline map you will use, from Cape Naturaliste to Cape Leeuwin. 
  • Cape to Cape Track Guide App; no internet or mobile coverage is needed. Access to offline maps and details of sections of the track. Its like having your own personal tour guide in your pocket! (one off fee $24.99)

Campsites, food & drinks

Firewood provided (May - Nov)

BBQ to be used at campsite. Plates/utensils/cutlery/kitchen towel will be in the food box. 

All meals are included and provided by 'Inspiration Feast' using local produce from the Margaret River Region.

Drinks are inclusive of water, coconut water, juice, tea, coffee, wine and beer.

Camping equipment is provided.

Camp sites are set up from 2 pm onwards each day, along with your food and drink boxes. Cape2Camp use a 10 cm king inflatable mattress with bedding (quilt, sheet and pillow) for all our campers. This allows for a cosy and comfortable sleep.

Camp site is unpowered.

Terms & Conditions

Itineries will remain flexible to ensure safety, and to enhance the hiker's  experience on the Cape to Cape track.

By paying the deposit, you agree to Cape2Camp Booking Terms and Conditions and Risk Warning. All participants will sign a waiver before the hike on Day 1, when meeting with the Cape2Camp Team.

Cape2Camp requires a 50% deposit, or a full payment to secure your booking. Final payment is due minimum 10 days prior to the hike. A cancellation fee of 50% applies with less than 10 days notice of cancellation. Where possible, transfer to alternative days will be considered.

Cape2Camp reserves the rights to modify the package at any time, as necessary. Any variations to the itinerary may result in extra charges payable to you. In case of severe weather, the hike might be rescheduled to another date. In such case you will be given a full refund or new dates for your hike with us.

Please note, for refunds of walks or tours that are booked with a credit card, the credit card booking fee will not be refunded. Bookings made through a booking agent may be subject to additional cancellation fees.
